Award Winning Swedish Pie

8 inch deep pie.
This pie launched my career when it won "Best of Boston Apple Pie" in Boston Magazine. At the time, I was baking in my house and selling to a small farm stand. (The pie wasn't even in a pie container because that was too expensive!) An editor from the magazine bought the pie, loved it and the rest is history! This pie is one of Nana Jo-Ann's recipes that she’d been making for over 50 years. Made with fresh, local apples, and topped with an all-natural butter walnut cookie topping.
